Our shortages policy
Levanti Health LLC is proactively addressing the potential removal of compounded GLP-1 medications from the FDA shortage list to ensure uninterrupted and high-quality care for our patients. In anticipation of this regulatory change, we are transitioning to FDA-approved GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic®️ and Wegovy®️, while strengthening our partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and enhancing collaboration with insurance providers to maintain medication accessibility and affordability. Our comprehensive implementation plan includes immediate actions like monitoring FDA updates, informing patients, and training our staff; short-term strategies such as developing personalized transition plans and securing reliable medication supplies; and long-term initiatives focused on ongoing patient support and continuous evaluation of our business model to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
To safeguard patient care during this transition, Levanti Health will offer personalized medical evaluations, gradual medication switching, and extensive communication through multiple channels to keep patients informed and supported. We are also enhancing our telehealth services, providing dedicated support lines, and coordinating closely with pharmacies to ensure timely prescription fulfillment and delivery. Additionally, we have established contingency plans, including the exploration of alternative therapies and active regulatory advocacy, to address any further challenges that may arise. Our unwavering commitment to patient safety and satisfaction drives us to implement these measures diligently, ensuring that changes in FDA regulations do not disrupt the continuity or effectiveness of the medical weight loss services we provide.
